Food and Eating Out
For food lovers, Thailand is a treat. Dinning offers almost endless possibilities for discovering exciting new tastes, rich in quality and variety. Good food in Thailand is hound in fascinating places, from seafood markets to floating restaurants to hawker stalls. Whenever one travels in the country, and attractive foods presentation are very appealing.

Well, it's true that Thais generally prefer hot and spicy but it doesn't mean that all Thai food is hot and spicy. And traditionally, rice has always been the most important dish in any meals for Thais.

Sweets
Sweets (ka-nom) come in a bewildering variety-from light concoctions through to custards, ice cream and cakes, and entire category of confections based upon egg yolks cooked in flower-scented syrups. It's easily to get its anywhere when you come across the market.

A Feast of Fruits
There is a sizeable range of fruits in Thailand, many of which may be unfamiliar. As well as bananas and pineapples, there are other brilliantly colored and strangely shaped fruits for the adventurous traveler.

Thai Fruits
Thai's tropical fruits, including mangoes, mangosteens, durians, pineapples, watermelons, papayas, rambutans, longans, lychee, tamarinds, pomegranates, palm fruits, oranges, pomeloes, jackfruit, and more than 20 kinds of Bananas, are available all year round.
From January to April, grapes, jackfruits, java apples, tangerines, watermelons and pomegranates, are in season. Next come mangoes, lychee, pineapples, durians, and mangosteens.
From July to August, longans will ripen, and also lansats, jujubes, passionfruits, pomeloes, rambutans, sugar apples and again tangerines, grapes, watermelons. bananas, coconuts, guavas, pineapples, and papayas are available though out the year.
