Phangnga

Phangnga, a land of tin mines and beautiful scenery, nestles among soaring mountains that rise up around the town. Phangnga is located 788 kilometers from Bangkok and covers an area of 4,170 square kilometers, most of which is mangrove and evergreen forest. This is bordered to the west by the Andaman Sea and consists of plenty of spectacular islands. It is administratively divided into 8 districts: Amphoe Muang, Amphoe Kapong, Amphoe Khura Buri, Amphoe Takuapa, Amphoe Takua Thung, Amphoe thai Muang, Amphoe Thap Put and Amphoe Ko Yao.
